Cohort Programs

Cohort Programs for Universities

Make an ISA Strategic Program a unique and innovative part of your education abroad program portfolio by working with us to identify new or existing programs that align with student needs and strategic interests.

Developing an international service-learning cohort program from scratch may seem complicated, but ISA’s Strategic Programs make it easy for you and your students. Strategic Programs give you the freedom to create an education abroad program that leverages our benefits, services, and expertise.

To work directly with the ISA Service-Learning department, university cohort programs must be looking for individual placements of no less than 4 weeks in length. The most successful cohort programs allow for flexibility, either with placement or program location. For example, we have worked with Social Work departments to offer a handful of placements in a specific ISA Service-Learning location. We have also worked with Spanish departments to offer placements in a variety of our Spanish-speaking locations. Advisors and faculty must be open to placing students with multiple community partner organizations as we cannot guarantee placement with any specific organization.
